Our disposable dinnerware is made from leaves that naturally shed from Areca Palm Trees, found in Southern India. When we say naturally shed, this means that no trees are ever cut, and no leaves are ever removed. We love this!
Once the palm leaves are shed from the tree, they are then collected, sorted, and cleaned. There are no chemicals or additives used in the entire manufacturing process. It is 100% chemical free.
Once cleaned, the palm leaves are then hand stretched and flattened out. In order to create the unique and beautiful shapes they are molded with the use of a heated press. Multiple plates, bowls, and spoons can be made from a single areca palm leaf - this means hardly any waste!
The final result is a refined yet earthy work of nature that will compliment any meal. They are perfect for weddings or events, cookouts, picnics, camping trips, catering and entertaining at home.
